HMK Advocates traces its roots to Hannah Muriithi & Company Advocates, established in 2009. The practice developed expertise in Corporate & Commercial Law, Legal Research & Consultancy, Conveyancing, Real Estate and Land Law.
The Firm of Hannah Muriithi & Company Advocates later emerged after the de-merger of Muriithi & Ndonye Advocates in 2017. It practiced as such until March 2023 when it rebranded to HMK Advocates.
The firm has continued to broaden its Corporate & Commercial practice and its civil-disputes capability, including commercial, constitutional and regulatory matters, while maintaining a strong foundation in conveyancing, real estate and legal research.
HMK Advocates also places emphasis on preventive law, Regulatory & Legal Compliance and Legal & Governance Auditing, helping clients identify legal and regulatory risks and address areas of non-compliance proactively.
Through its research and consultancy practice, the firm monitors legislative and regulatory developments and provides clients with legal analysis, advisory support and training relevant to their businesses and organisations.
